Marina Cantina Drink Options
Hosted Bar- All margaritas, specialty drinks, beer and wine are totaled and charged to the main bill.
Cash Bar- Guests pay for drinks individually with cash or credit card.
Partial Hosted Bar/Drink Tickets- You decide on the amount of drink tickets and pass them out. We charge the main bill based on what is served (ex. $6 for a beer) and then add to the main bill. We do not charge for unused tickets.
We are unable to control the whims of Mother Nature, but we do have some heaters available. It is not an enclosed pavilion but we will have curtains to help block some rain/wind. The pavilion, however, only seats 35 people. If you feel like weather may become an issue for your event, we will allow cancellation with full refund 48 hours before your event to allow you to find time to secure a different location but if you have a 100 person event and it starts to rain heavily, I’m afraid we do not have many options.
Free parking is available after 4pm on weekdays and all-day Saturday and Sunday at the UW upper gravel lot (W-24) across the street from the Café. Pay parking is available in the lower Boat Street Marina lot East of the Café (pay per hour, up to 4 hours) and is closest to the Pavilion. Street parking is available all day (for 2 hours maximum) with pay hours from 7am-8pm. Agua Verde Café is also a 10-12-minute walk from the University Light Rail station and a one-minute bike ride from the Burke Gilman bike trail.
Confirmations & Cancellations
We will need a credit card and signed contract to secure a reservation. We do charge a cancellation fee equal to 20 percent of the food and beverage minimum for parties canceling within 30 days of their event. If event is cancelled due to legitimate weather concerns, we will allow 48 hour notice with no cancellation fee. In the case of a “No Show”, or no one making it to the event, you will be charged the full food and beverage minimum with service charges and fees.
Combo Events with the Paddle Club
Agua Verde Café and Agua Verde Paddle Club are owned by separate individuals so reservations must be made separately. However, after you’ve made your arrangements, we can help coordinate the details for you! Typical events have guests kayak and then return for dining and drinking. It’s recommended to check in first with the Paddle Club about your plans as their reservations have more limitations. Note: The Paddle Club does not make reservations on weekends or holidays during the months of June, July and August. To reach the Paddle Club call (206) 545-8570 ext. 22
